Rebecca Chollet, N.D. earned her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine in 2004 from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington. She graduated magma cum laude from Middlebury College and completed her premedical studies with honors at the University of Vermont.
Dr. Chollet has practiced as a licensed Naturopathic physician in Burlington, VT, in her hometown of Peterborough, NH, and now exclusively at the Upper Valley Natural Health Center. She specializes in the complementary care of chronic diseases. She uses botanical medicine, clinical nutrition and homeopathy to resolve a variety of health complaints for children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Chollet takes the time to listen to her patients' stories and nurture healing relationships. As a former teacher, she values the educational aspect of naturopathic medicine.
Dr. Chollet has been an active member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the Vermont Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and the New Hampshire Association of Naturopathic Doctors since 2004. She worked alongside colleagues to help pass legislation in Vermont requiring insurance reimbursement for Naturopathic physicians. Dr. Chollet served as the Secretary of VANP from 2005 - 2012. In 2008 she completed a 40-hour training in Farm Health & Safety and she sits on the Vermont Farm Health Task Force.
Away from the office, Dr. Chollet spends her time with family and friends. She loves to hike, backpack, snowshoe and garden. She enjoys the quiet contemplation of the natural world but also relishes playing women's ice hockey and soccer.
Shari joined the UVNHC staff in 2012 as the office assistant. She lives in Hartland and enjoys gardening, taking walks and reading.
